Christina:

I found the project very interesting, above all because we had a very hands-on approach to the topic. Before the project, I didn’t even know that the illness existed and I think it is important that people are aware of this hereditary illness. The path of treatment is simple.

Johanna:

I had never heard of this illness before our project. I like teaching people through our project about HC.

Anna:

It’s still fascinating to me what an interesting and exciting topic we came across for our latest project. It is fun for me to get to work actively in the lab, but also to write the maybe less exciting report. I think such projects should become a part of all schools because they promote a sense of community and they also awaken an interest in research. I always like participating in such projects!

Max:

I thought the project was really cool even though it was a little stressful sometimes. Getting to work with EUROlyser was really awesome. I also found the results we got interesting.

The right lighting was also a must.

Flo:

I think it’s great that we have the opportunity as “young” students to get to participate in such cool analyses. The exciting lab work is just great fun. Even though it is a lot of work to participate in a project like this, I’m really happy that I got to be a part of it.

Lisa:

Projects like this really showcase peoples’ talents. They make you aware of your strengths and weaknesses and, for me personally, that is very important and will prove very helpful to me in the future.

Johanna:

I found the lab days very interesting and informative! They allowed me a closer look into the average day in a lab.Summarizing the texts really got my brain juices flowing. Through this project, we all grew as a team.

Andi:

It was fascinating to get to work with a hi-tech instrument like the one we got to use on our second lab day. Such opportunities don’t come around too often in life.
